Hotel Zeezicht Harlingen is uniquely situated at the Oude Binnenhaven in the heart of Harlingen. The hotel is situated in the striking monumental building 'het Zeekasteel' of Harlingen, right across the terminal of Doeksen where the ferries to Vlieland and Terschelling depart.
Harlingen is one of the Frisian Eleven Cities and the only Frisian port city connected to one of the largest protected natural areas of Western Europe included in the World Heritage list: the Wadden Sea.
The historical facades, the many monuments, special shops and cosy cafés are worth a walk through the city.
The hotel has a beautiful terrace by the water and an excellent restaurant. In the evening, the recently renovated covered terrace is a great place to dine while enjoying the beautiful view of the historic seaport with ships sailing in and out on the Wadden Sea.
The crossing with the ferry to the Wadden Islands is easy: the ferry service is located opposite the hotel. You can order your ferry tickets at the hotel.
